The design process always begins with ideas and drawings. Here I would like to share some of my process in design. My renderings are drawn with pencil and then I color them with markers and a black ink pen. I like a loose drawing style that keeps the emphasis on the costume rather than details of the figure. I believe it gives the viewer a clear vision of my design, which leads to a dialogue about color, style, shape and texture. I often like to include research images with my renderings to support my design choices and help the viewer to fully understand the direction for my design.
